Hobe Sterling and 14K Bow Brooch with Topaz Stones

This Hobe Sterling and 14K Rose Gold brooch with six topaz colored rhinestones measures an impressive 3" long and 3" wide. During WWII when potmetal was being used for military needs, many of the great designers used Sterling silver. These are some of the most collectible pieces of vintage costume jewelry today. Hobe did an entire series of jaw-dropping jewelry in Sterling with stones and elaborate design work. This is one of those pieces that features topaz colored stones and has 14K rose gold accents. The stones are consistent in tone, although some of my photos may indicate otherwise. This piece is in very good condition. NOTE: I polished this brooch very softly just so the design elements would be clearly visible. I'm sure it will come up brighter, if you so desire to remove all the patina.
